Typical Day in Sare Samba

This is a pretty typical day in Sare Samba, sitting around drinking ataya and chatting. Ataya is extra strongly brewed chinese gunpowder tea served with lots of sugar and in 3 rounds.

Training Village

My host sister, Haddy, with my baby brother Imam.

So, I've got tons to put up here and won't try to start tonight, but requests for pictures have been many, so here is one. More will come, but I lost a bunch of them to a hard drive crash and have been working to recover from that. Luckily I'm one of the allocated geeks of the group and will be burning every one else's pics to CD to make a group montage - thus allowing me to snag good pics from everyone. It'll all go into a slide show which I'll also send to the states to a tech savvy person who can then distribute as he sees fit to all you all in the know. The power might be on at home and the water might be running so I'm going to aim for a midnight shower and crash shortly. Bye all.
